Ballot Access Drive

As you already know, the LPNH has embarked upon an ambitious project, to complete a "party wide" ballot access petition drive for the 2012 general election. We haven't done this since 2000. In fact, we are the only political organization in the history of New Hampshire to have ever completed such an endeavor. Now we are doing it again.

Thanks to a generous start from the national LP we have completed the first phase of the drive, obtaining enough raw signatures to technically qualify. Obviously, no drive ever gets 100% validity, so we must collect more to ensure we have enough validated signatures so we may place all our candidates on the ballot next November.

So I am asking you to help us complete our petition drive.

I want to be done this month. If we are done this month, we don't have to worry about competing with the other minor parties and groups like Americans Elect. We can spend the rest of 2012 focused on recruiting the best candidates and creating the best campaigns. In other words, doing what a political party is supposed to be doing in an election year.

If this sounds like a smart idea to you, keep reading.

Town elections the best day to collect signatures. That's Tuesday March13th in most locations. The goal is within reach if we can get the manpower and/or money together quickly, we can put this to bed and our focus time and energy on the 2012 election, where it belongs.

The request is simple: we need your time or your money. These are the only two banks in politics. That is the reality. Well wishes and hopes mean nothing in this business, the only thing that counts is action, and that is were you come in. Action will not happen without you making it happen. It is the members and supporters like you we rely on for that.

If you can spare even a few hours to work in your home town please write to volunteer@lpnh.org and earn our eternal gratitude and save us a lot of money. Or, make a contribution so we can hire all the help we can to cover high traffic areas. Even a novice petitioner can collect 100-200 signatures on an election day.

With your help, we can finish this major endeavor now and be on the path to success for 2012 and give the voters of New Hampshire the choice of Liberty up and down the ballot.

Thanks to a very generous supporter, your money will go even further. He has agreed to fully match any contribution of $100 or more (up to $3000). Double your contribution for liberty!

Everyone who contributes $50 or more may select a special premium as a thank you gift. With any contribution of $50 or more you can get a copy of the brand new book, Come Home America, a collection of anti-war essays, or for $100 or more we'll send you the liberty-themed t-shirt of your choice from our online store or the world-famous disappearing civil-liberties mug.

Of course, the best contribution you can make is to spend a day collecting signatures. That will save precious resources and make it possible for us to run more candidates. Let us know soon, so we can coordinate placing everyone.

Please, be generous, tell your friends, and thank you for all the help you can provide.
